Welcome to The Hoops Circuit Website! The Hoops Circuit provides regional circuits, national tournaments, and elite training camps. We focus on bringing the best competition to our circuits & events, while hosting in the best facilities in the country.
The Hoops Circuit is the parent brand that oversees our regional circuits which includes the Midwest Circuit.
The Hoops Circuit’s primary focus is on highly competitive events run in a professional manner in optimal venues. We provide an atmosphere where athletes compete at the highest level while building relationships and creating lasting memories.

HOOPS CIRCUIT GAME RULES
• 14 Minute Halves > If a team is up 20 points, clock shall run last 7 minutes of game. If score differential drops below 20 points, clock stops. • 2 Minute Overtimes, all Grades, sudden death in 3rd OT • 3 minute warm-up, 3 minute (minimum) • 2 Full and 2 30 second timeouts per game (1 Full Timeout Per Overtime, No Carry Over) • No press up 25 points • 6th Grade & Below will play with a 28.5 inch ball • All National Federation Rules unless otherwise noted

• Please bring your own practice and game balls • First team listed in pool play or top team listed on brackets shall be the away team and wear dark colored jerseys • The away team is responsible for having an adult run the book, the visiting team shall have a clock operator. • Game Time is forfeit time. Please be at game site early! • Any player, coach, or fan ejected shall not participate in the next game. If ejected during the last game of a weekend, the ejection carries over to the next circuit weekend. • Any player, coach, or fan involved in fighting or verbal altercations will not be allowed entrance into the facility the rest of the weekend and the following circuit stop. Players are to wear shorts and basketball jerseys. Numbers cannot be duplicated on the same team. If a team has more than one of the same number it will result in a technical foul with 2 free throws for each violation. It is the teams responsibility to make sure the numbers are correct in the book linked to the correct player. Once play begins, any number not listed in the official book results in a technical foul and free throws for each violation.
HOOPS CIRCUIT LEAGUE TIE-BREAKERS • If two teams are tied, then head to head competition • If three teams tied 1. Strength of Schedule 2. Fewest Points Allowed
HOOPS CIRCUIT EVENT NOTES
• Admission shall be $15 per day, or $25 for a weekend pass. • 3 free admission bands per team (1 for head coach, 1 for assistant coach, 1 for book/clock keeper). Your book/clock keeper must be included in your 3 coaches bands per team. • All Coaches receiving coaches bands must check-in at the admission table at the facility of your games. Coaches Bands must be kept on throughout the tournament. Coaches who do not have coaches band on for 2nd day of tournament will have to pay general daily admission. • Doors will open 30 minutes before the first game each day. • A roster, with proof of grade and age for each player must be available at all times! You can have a max of 12 players on your roster. Players cannot be added to your roster after you have played your first game. • Any team that forfeits a game is subject to removal from the Hoops Circuit Event/Midwest Circuit without refund.
HOOPS CIRCUIT ELIGIBILITY RULES
Players are eligible to participate in the grade level they are enrolled in for the current (2020-21) school year as long as they meet the age eligibility rules:
3rd Grade: Must be 10 or younger as of May 31, 2022. 4th Grade: Must be 11 or younger as of May 31, 2022. 5th Grade: Must be 12 or younger as of May 31, 2022. 6th Grade: Must be 13 or younger as of May 31, 2022. 7th Grade: Must be 14 or younger as of May 31, 2022. 8th Grade: Must be 15 or younger as of May 31, 2022. 9th Grade: Must be 16 or younger as of May 31, 2022. 10th Grade: Must be 17 or younger as of May 31, 2022. 11th Grade: Must be 18 or younger as of May 31, 2022.
***Players may play UP a grade level but CANNOT play down a grade.***
HOOPS CIRCUIT PROTEST PROCEDURES
We make every effort to ensure teams play in the appropriate grade level. However, if a team would like to protest another team meeting the eligibility requirements a $100 protest fee shall be collected and must be done within one hour of the completion or start of the game in protest. If you win the protest, your fee will be refunded. Any ineligible teams win will be forfeited with illegal player removed from team play and with potential team removal from event(s).
NO SWITCHING TEAMS: A player can only play on one team in his age group for the entire event. Their first team is his ‘official’ team, the second team (if in the same grade) will forfeit all games he has played. A player may ‘play up’ on another team as long as the player fits eligibility requirements and is listed on the roster prior to game 1 of session 1.
